SGS Peppermint Mocha

Here is the SGS Peppermint Mocha for all of my ho ho ho’s! One drink you don’t have to feel bad about. While this is geared more towards the holiday season, you can make it year round to mix up your morning coffee. Peppermint extract has been shown to aid in digestion and increase mental focus. Chocolate is well…chocolate.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop collagen peptides (I use Garden of Life)

  • 1/8 tsp peppermint extract

  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate of choice

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • ½ tsp coconut oil (optional but luxurious)

  • ¼ - ½ cup steamed milk of choice

  • Coffee or espresso (1 cup liquid overall)  


Equipment

  • Coffee or espresso maker  

  • (Optional) Milk steamer or frother  

  • The coffee mug that brings you joy


Instructions

  1. Place collagen peptides in mug with peppermint extract, dark chocolate, cacao powder and coconut oil. Pour espresso over the top. Froth with hand frother or stir to combine.

  2. Steam milk and pour over espresso mix. Top with dark chocolate shavings and cinnamon.
